With over a decade of success, Babado Novo relives its history through a partnership between the band’s past and present. The singer Mari Antunes, current singer of the group, received Claudia Leitte, who was the first voice of Babado Novo, in a very special musical partnership. The invitation came from Mari, who revealed it was an old wish to record with Claudia: “I think she has everything to do with the history of Babado and that it would be magical, as it was!” Says Mari Antunes. The choice of the song “Can Enter” came from Claudia. She had this song in store and waited for the right moment to record it. Listen and download here: https://umusicbrazil.lnk.to/PodeEnter.
To be even more special, the single arrives with a video that promises to thrill bubbles and “sticky” – the affectionate way singers call their fans. The music video, which features the singers preparing a celebration to meet with fans, is also now available on the band’s official YouTube channel.
“Can Come In” is a song that talks about love, warmth, and refers to everything singers seek to offer their fans, and what they feel.
The track is a composition by Tierry Costa and Matheus Kennedy and was recorded and mixed at Cesarte Studio by Marquinhos Carvalho, with production and musical direction by Luciano Pinto.
It is noteworthy that the action was a surprise. Fans didn’t know they would find the muses. The emotion and love are clear in the looks and gestures that were recorded in the clip. Claudinha and Mari were also thrilled during the recording, as every detail was thought to honor the fans of the band and brings much of the history and essence of Babado Novo.
And speaking of history, the song is a romantic axé, and according to Mari has the face of Babado Novo. Claudinha, who didn’t even want to leave and leave the nostalgic vibe of the recording, says: “I’m very happy to be part of this Babado Novo song with Mari. I was very happy there. It’s part of my story, my flag. ”
